Just pretend that the ground for the multimeter was hooked to the power source the whole time, thank you in advance. I promise this works. 30 power in from fused source. Only need to support swt signal requirements, which is usually pretty low amps 86 looped to 30 85 swt grd signal in. 87 swt power signal out

This is awesome, picking one up tonight, have a few sensors that need the 5v and sensor ground.
I have the same connector in my Audi a4 rear lights. It is just 4 pins instead of 3. I have to change the connector as it's faulty. I bought the part but I didn't know how to assemble it. It took me a while to find your video. It helped me a lot. Thank you very much.
Had to do same on 700r4 pull stock fittings out and used fittings that came with kit I bought I did used permatex high temp paste takes over night to cure will do job
do you think that the copper ring will resist the heat directly at the turbo outlet?

Ya really shouldn't let any acid soak in your shop. Even vinegar (acetic acid). Yes it's mild, but smell that? That is some getting in your air in a semi closed space. Even covered those fumes will rust stuff in an accelerated manner. Guys have used Muratic acid (HC!) in their shop which works really fast by the way, buts hazardous. Poor guy found just about everything metal was rusting one week later. Ion your not in a hurry, white vinegar works well on mill scale. But cover tightly and try to do it outside if you can. Also heat accelerates the process with vinegar.
You didnt explain what the other connector does .... is it needed ? Does the nuetrals safety control anything else in the transmission

I have both TE Connectivity closed and stamped connector crimpers which are expensive and the cheaper ones from Amazon just to compare and try them out, the cheaper ones performs and does the job, if someone needs to borrow my crimpers I’ll let them borrow the cheap ones.
I have this machine, and when it is working, it works fine......when....... I've had a few months and have had to several times take apart to adjust- clean the HF contacts. I also have a Miller Diversion for 15 years 180, and a Hobart Tigwave 250 for 32 years and never ever have an issue. But I can not trust the Everlast to bring it on a jobsite and be confident it's going to work. I'm back to using the Miller cuz it always works. I under stand the Miller cost 2 1/2 time what the Everlast does and you get what you pay for but still.......come on!

It’s not super glue I don’t think.When the switch gets hot some kinda glue or epoxy or something oozes thru the pins and glues the connections. I rebuild transmissions and I’ve had my personal transmissions that I put new switches on and 5/6 years down the road they are the same way. Goo gone works extremely well if you must disconnect them. I’m sure some one has all the information for why I don’t know what I’m talking about so I’ll just say that’s my experiences
Far as that sun shell goes it will last a long time if you make sure you come to a full stop before going from reverse to forward or vice versa. It’s the biggest killer for that and that accumulater in the valve body softens the forward clutch engagement. Unless you want your head snapped out the box every time you shift into drive don’t change to a tougher spring. If you need a good valve body let me know I’ve got tons. I can vacuum test them so you will be sure you getting a good one
Yeah I destroyed a neutral switch same way. Live and learn. Anything sonnax that is in the budget throw at that 60e. Had good luck with their stuff in a heavy 4x4 suburban 60e I rebuilt. Always towed in drive with it and it doesn't see over 5500rpm. I don't know how that equates to something that makes good power though.
I just recently pulled the 4L80 out of my 2003 2500HD that I’ve owned since new and that connector was actually exactly the same way. Was super pissed fighting with it until I realized a little heat with a heat gun would liquify whatever that stuff is and let the connector come out. Had to heat it up again to put it back in after giving up on trying to scrape it all out of both connectors. Some kind of sealant I assume.
My trans guy said something similar. Go figure. I hate gm even more

I use the same relay for lots of different things. I find 128hz to be best for my stuff, with a holley. Have you played around with different frequencies?

Perfect! Thanks Mike keep bringing it man. Do you have or can you recommend something for a solid state for fuel pumps and other things? I forgot to look when I ordered all the LS stuff.
I use a Forman 902-310 radiator fan relay kit on my set up. It kicks on at 1psi and ramps in 100% by 3psi which seems to keep the fuel pressure stable. Dual 380s
